When I started my testing career back in 1995, I was just
thrown into a test project with no formal induction into
the test methodologies, processes, and tools. It has been a
long journey – pleasurable, challenging, and still evolving,
after around 23 years. The technology landscape has changed
but the basic values and tenets of testing still remain the
same! In this blog post, I would like to introduce budding
testers to the things that matter as a tester, and how to
orient your career to be fulfilling, enjoyable and successful.

of the software from the specifications.
